The International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (ISATT), founded in 1983, is a global scholarly association committed to advancing research on teachers and teaching to improve education worldwide. Through its Web of Science–indexed journal Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice and its conferences and research networks, ISATT promotes high-quality scholarship and collaboration.


The 2026 ISATT Regional (Africa) Conference, hosted by Maseno University, marks the second ISATT Regional Conference on the African continent and provides a platform for African and international scholars to share research, build partnerships, and strengthen Maseno University's global profile in education research.
